Junk removal and moving across Metro Vancouver

We cover 19 cities, from Vancouver and the North Shore out to Langley, Maple Ridge and Abbotsford. Every city has its own page with the disposal facility that serves it, what that facility actually charges, and the access quirks — lanes, elevators, steep driveways — that change what a job costs there.

Why dump fees differ from city to city

Our price includes the dump fees. If you take a load in yourself, the fee is set by whoever runs the facility it goes to, and there are two separate systems in this region that do not charge the same.

Metro Vancouver facilities

Six regional recycling and waste centres — North Shore, United Boulevard, North and Central Surrey, Langley and Maple Ridge. Minimum charge $25 at peak and $15 off-peak, plus a $5 transaction fee per load.

City of Vancouver facilities

The Vancouver South Transfer Station and the Vancouver Landfill in Delta, run under the City’s own bylaw. Minimum charge $20 at peak and $10 off-peak, with different per-load caps.

So a Burnaby load and a Coquitlam load of identical size are billed under different schedules. Peak hours are 10am–2pm on weekdays at both — except at Central Surrey, Langley and Maple Ridge, where the peak minimum does not apply at all. Each city page shows the schedule that applies to it, with a link to the operator’s published source.

Abbotsford and Mission sit in the Fraser Valley Regional District rather than Metro Vancouver, so neither fee schedule above applies to them and we do not quote regional rates on their pages. We still serve both.

Every city we cover

16 of these cities have a full local guide covering neighbourhoods, access, disposal and what drives the price there. The rest link to our standard service pages and pricing.

Vancouver and the North Shore

Lane access, permit parking and walk-ups on the Vancouver side; steep driveways and bridge crossings on the North Shore.

Burnaby, New Westminster and the Tri-Cities

Tower clusters along the SkyTrain lines, hillside housing on Westwood Plateau and Burke Mountain.

Richmond and Delta

Island and river communities where every load crosses a bridge or the tunnel to reach a facility.

Surrey, Langley and the south

The largest cities by area, with basement suites, acreages and the region's best cluster of specialist depots.

Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and the Fraser Valley

The eastern edge of our coverage, including two cities outside the Metro Vancouver waste system.

Not sure which page you need?

If you want a price rather than a guide, the pricing page lists our load sizes and hourly moving rates, and the quote form takes about a minute. Photographs of the pile get you a firm number fastest.
