What a local move costs

We quote local moves as a flat price or by the hour, whichever suits the job. Current rates, before 5% GST:

• Hourly (2 movers and a truck): $120 to $180 per hour
• Studio or 1-bedroom: flat $599 (a 20% deposit of $120 books your date)
• 2-bedroom home: $800 to $1,400
• 3-bedroom home: $1,200 to $2,000
• 4-bedroom home: $1,800 to $3,500

How to keep your move on budget

• Declutter before you move, so you are not paying to move things you do not want.
• Have boxes packed and taped before the crew arrives.
• Reserve parking or a loading zone close to the door at both ends.
• Take apart beds and tables ahead of time, or ask us to.

Moving and junk removal in one booking

Because we do both, you can book one crew to move what is coming with you and haul away what is not. Tell us about the junk when you book, and we will price both together.
